Oolong milk tea or milk oolong tea is made from the tea tree variety Taicha No. 12, which was cultivated in 1980’s by wu zhenduo, the father of Taiwanese tea, and was named jin xuan oolong tea after his grandmother's maiden name in memory. We also call it milk oolong tea due to its miky fragrance.
Grade is the comparison of the same type of tea, Oolong Milk Tea 2nd grade ranks lower than 1st grade. Its tea leaves are from a lower elevation and with lighter aroma.
The Oolong Milk Tea leaves come from Alishan mountain, which one of the most famous tea-growing areas in Taiwan. The leaves of Oolong Milk Tea 2nd grade was chosen at an elevation between 1600 and 1800 meters, these mountainsides area always covered with fog or clouds, ideal for growing oolong.

How to brew Oolong Milk Tea
To brew Oolong Milk Tea, Yixing Clay Teapot or porcelain gaiwan is suggested to be used as brewing tool.
Brew in Chinese Gongfu Way：
Serving Size: 3g
Water: 150ml with temperature of above 95℃
5 steeps: rinse, 15s, 25s, 35s, 45s, 55s.
Rinse time around 5s.
