To create this, the finished tea is given some extra drying over smoking pine fire, imparting a sweet, clean smoky flavor to the tea. But nowadays, with the increasing improvement of environmental protection, lapsang souchong black tea are made more and more into without smoke. Even the smoke lapsang souchong, there are less pine wood used to make lightly smoke level.
